Local Accomplishments

Over 85 Lake County homeowners are now smiling because of Christmas in April*Northcoast. In six short years, Christmas in April*Northcoast has become Lake county's fastest growing, and most effective volunteer organization dedicated to the repair and rehabilitation of homes belonging to needy residents of Lake County.

We have succeeded because of our focus on tangible results. In cooperation with numerous contributors in our community, Christmas in April*Northcoast will, by the year 2000, have rehabilitated over 150 homes and non-profit facilities and involved thousands of volunteers. We will have assisted many Lake County neighborhoods and will involve many business and community groups. By sharing community resources with volunteer spirit, we will empower Lake County to improve the quality of life for all residents. Christmas in April is the driving force behind this goal!

January 1, 2000 - We believed we would have 150 homes and non-profit facilities renovated. The numbers are better than we could have even hoped for. 154 homes, 8 non-profit facilites and community centers renovated. More than 7,000 volunteers involving more than 300 businesses and organizations. $300,000 worth of improvements at no cost to the recipients.
