A Night at the Races Well, the weather didn't stop our 200 guests from venturing onto the snowy and icy streets. They were rewarded by having a great dinner and lots of fun!

Our second annual Night at the Races was held at the B.P.O.E. #549 in Painesville. The Elks generously donated their facility for our fundraiser.
After a buffet dinner, the cashier's office opened up, bettors placed their bets -- and they were off!
Cash, ribbons and champagne were awarded to "owners" and lucky bettors cashed in also. In one race, all horses were "auctioned" - and what an auction it was! After a spirited bidding process, the lucky owners cashed in.
