Stepping Out is Easier for Homeowners
by Ray Sack, House Captain

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Walker of Wickliffe was chosen for the work day to have the front and back steps to the home entrances replaced. The elderly homeowners had a very hard time using the old steps due to their disabilities. The steps were broken and needed total replacement.

As House Captain I selected this home and had one volunteer assist me with the building of the two sets of steps and railings. Materials were donated and the work was completed by early afternoon. The homeowners were very pleased with the work and could not wait to have them finished. Navigating the steps in and out of their home is much easier now. The homeowners write "We would like to send our thanks to you for doing a beautiful job. We really needed some steps....."
